The adult membership of the club is fixed at 575, and we currently are fully subscribed with approximately 200 people on the membership wait list. In 2007 our single adult membership rate is $940 plus taxes, with locker or club storage fees extra. A discount of $60 is afforded to those who own voting membership in the Club.

Voting memberships may be purchased from the Club treasury, for $500. They also trade privately, subject to a $55 transfer fee payable to the Club on re-registration. Several are currently being advertised for sale in the clubhouse.

Each spring, we offer discounted packages of green fee passes to meet the needs of non-members who play here frequently. Purchasers may choose regular 18 hole fees, twilight fees, 9 hole fees, or a combination thereof. Details of this year's package offerings are posted on our Green Fees pages . Purchasers of these passes are also eligible to enter several member tournaments. For details of green fee passes or waiting list procedures please contact us at the Club office.

Members may also take advantage of our Guest Pass programme. Guest Passes may be purchased, in books of three, from either the Pro Shop or the office. The user must play in the member's group. The passes expire at the end of the 2007 season and may not be re-sold. 3 x 18 holes sells for $158; 3 x Twilight is $118; and 3 x 9 holes will be $78.

The golf membership of the Club is fixed at 575 adults and 125 juniors. The adult membership was increased from 525 in 2005.

The waiting list was opened in 2004 and a lottery for 150 new positions was conducted, and the waiting list was then closed.

The waiting list was re-opened May 1st, 2006 on a first come first serve basis and will remain open at least until there are 250 names on the list. As of February 2007 the total number of names on the list is approximately 200. Certain conditions apply. Please contact the club office for details.

The 2007-08 membership registration for the 2007-08 season closed on October 25th. There will be room for some snowbird registrations later through the winter, in some leagues. Call the office for information about late registrations.

Our club features a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Membership dues are payable annually in September, and discounts are allowed for voting members, couples, and first time members. Snowbird (partial) memberships are available for those who travel for a significant portion of the winter.

South Muskoka is a not-for-profit corporation without share capital, registered in Ontario. Individuals may purchase a voting membership in the Club. Voting membership certificates may be purchased from the Club treasury for $500 or may be transferred from an existing member, subject to payment of a transfer fee to the Club. The transfer fee is currently $55. Voting memberships are non-cumulative — an individual will have only 1 vote, regardless of the number of voting membership certificates held in his or her name.

Adult owners of voting memberships receive discounts on both curling and golfing annual membership dues, currently $25 and $60, respectively. The original membership certificates sold for $100 in 1970.
