Junior Golf
Junior Golf
The next generation starts here
Junior golfers are the cornerstone of our South Muskoka, and fun is at the core of everything we do.
We strive to provide several different programs that cater to all ages and skill levels. To better streamline programming, we have made some changes to our scheduling. It is our hope that these changes will allow us to welcome new juniors to the program while ensuring our juniors are receiving the level of instruction that is appropriate to their goals.
We encourage parents to explore our 2026 JUNIOR PROGRAM GUIDE for further information. In short, there are two main streams being offer this season: 1) Recreational and 2) Developmental/Competitive. Please review the programming information and reach out to us if you have any questions.
Please note: We strive to keep our junior programming at a reasonable cost and recognize that families have varying financial situations. We never want money to be a barrier to your child’s access to the game of golf. If you require assistance in any capacity, we would be happy to work with you to find a suitable solution. Please know that all correspondence will be treated with the strictest confidence.
Recreational Pathway
AGES 8-18
Every Monday from May 25th – August 24th, excluding July 27th, and August 17th.
Monday nights are dedicated to junior golf at South Muskoka. This year, “Junior Night” is geared toward newer and/or non-competitive, recreational juniors. We offer instruction for those that are new to the game or looking to develop their skills and also offer on-course access for our older juniors with more experience. Our PGA of Canada professionals review the ability of all juniors and ensure they are in the proper group.
NEW UPDATE FOR AGES 5-7
We’ve made some updates to our junior program schedule for this season. Last year, the Ages 5–7 group ran at 3:00 PM, and we understand that this was a difficult time for many families to arrive. To better accommodate everyone, we will be moving the session to 4:00–4:45 PM this season.
In addition, with a total of 12 junior nights planned, we are dividing registration into two separate 6-week sessions. If registration numbers are lower than expected, we will revert to last year’s format for July and August. Please let us know which session you would prefer for your child:
May 25 – June 29 OR July 6 – August 24
We’re doing our best to accommodate a variety of schedules, which we know can be challenging, and we truly appreciate your understanding.
- 3:30pm – 5:30pm – On-course play, reserved for older / experienced juniors
- 4:00pm – 4:45pm: Ages 5-7 AND 8-12
- 5:00pm – 5:45pm: Ages 13-18
Our younger juniors will often use the short course on the driving range to build their skillset.
Cost: Free for junior members / $150 + tax for non-members.
Our 3 or 4 -day golf camps are designed for beginner to intermediate golfers looking to learn the game alongside their peers.
